It is an electrostatic machine which uses a moving belt to accumulate very high electrostatically stable voltages on a hollow metal globe on the top of the stand. Oh i had fun with it today. For science that is. In electricity chapter.. 7 kot. Not rly that interesting actually. But this van de graff generator is :D Too bad i coudnt try putting my hands on it and see whether if my hair would be standing or not. Hmm. I was wearing tudung you see. Hehh.
